Our lifetime diamond upgrade allows you to trade in your diamond, diamond solitaire pendant or diamond studs for a larger diamond (s). You pay the difference between the trade in and the trade up and receive the amount originally paid toward your upgrade.

Pearl Restringing

Even the most beautiful string of pearls will need to be restrung from time to time - as the necklace is worn, the pearls work with gravity to stretch the cord. When you start to see the unknotted string in your pearls, it’s time to bring it in to be restrung. Pearls are strung on thin silk cord that breaks easily after a year or more of use. If you wear your pearls often, they should be restrung yearly; with less frequent wear they can last up to three years before the silk string starts to discolor and weaken. Prevent any unfortunate loss of pearls by being proactive in your jewelry care and set a yearly appointment with your jeweler to take care of your pearls and all your fine jewelry.

Our professionally trained staff provides complimentary jewelry appraisals for items purchased from us for your insurance company, estate and will planning or personal needs. Additionally, we have a Graduate Gemologist who specializes in appraisals in our store once per month to appraise your items.

Watch Repair

Watch repair at Mitchell's Jewelry includes so much more than simply changing batteries: we also offer cleaning, polishing, and resetting your watches. We work on most brands, whether or not you purchased your watch from us. If you need your watch resized to fit your wrist, we are usually able to add or remove links.

Jewelry Repair

Having our jewelers on premise allows us to provide the prompt repair service you have come to expect from Mitchell's Jewelry. Jay Hasenbeck has been with us since 1990 and is a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America receiving a degree in Gemology including a Diamond Certificate, Colored Stone Certificate, Pearl Certificate and a Colored Stone Grading Certificate. Chance Cox joined us in 2018 after receiving his certification as a bench jeweler and his certification in CAD design and jewelry repair from The Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology.
